Delegating isn't the same as losing control

The biggest worry about handing work to AI is that it “does something behind my back.” Specify's Agent doesn't work that way. It only moves within the scope your team has set.

• Anything outside the set scope is never done on its own

The Agent moves only within the scope the team allows. Connected tools are read only as far as permitted, and nothing outside the scope gets done.

Widening or narrowing those permissions is always the team's call. Open the scope up as trust builds, and keep sensitive areas tight.

Every action is logged

What the Agent does — the process and the result — stays in the workspace. What it did, which sources it used, what it changed: you can check all of it later, exactly as it happened. The basis for trusting a result is kept right alongside it.

The final call stays with people

Finished work lands in the inbox, and anything that needs review waits for a person before moving on. AI adds speed, and the important decisions still rest with the team. That's what it looks like to delegate without losing control.
